Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has turned down three significant offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, each valued at £35 million per year, according to recent reports. Despite his weekly earnings of over £300,000, Rashford’s performances have been under scrutiny, leading to concerns about his attitude and commitment. His exclusion from Ruben Amorim’s squad during the Manchester derby last month, followed by his lack of involvement in the match against Newcastle United, indicated that the club may be pushing for him to leave.
Rashford has reportedly been linked to a move to FC Barcelona, but the Spanish giants are unlikely to afford his wage demands and the £50 million transfer fee rumored to be attached. While clubs in Saudi Arabia have the financial resources to meet those demands, the 27-year-old has no interest in playing in the Middle East.
Rashford is said to have turned down three high-paying offers from the Saudi Pro League, which would surpass his current £315,000-a-week salary. He has also dismissed potential moves to Turkey. Although he expressed interest in a new challenge last month, Rashford remains open to staying at Manchester United, where he is contracted until 2028.
The player is reportedly waiting for a recall from manager Ruben Amorim and remains committed to giving his full effort to the team.
